Types of Presentations

Flat Goods:  This is your traditional double or triple mat with glass and frame.

Dimensional:  We were pioneers in the development of dimensional art.  Using spacers and multiple cutouts a three dimensional look is created. There is usually about 1/2 inch between the glass and the artwork with the mats being separated from the art by hidden strips of foam-core.  Dimensional art is located throughout the categories of our line.

Canvas Transfers:  A print on paper is laminated with a special film.  The product is soaked in a solution until the paper is waterlogged.  The paper is rubbed from the laminate until only a microscopically thin layer of paper remains.  This film, still containing the image from the paper,  is heat sealed to a gummy canvas.  We then mount the canvas on stretcher strips and it is either framed or given a Gallery Wrap edge (no frame required).  If requested, we can coat the canvas with thick clear acrylic,  brush stroked to look even more like an original painting.

Canvas Transfer Notice: 
Transfers are limited by the press size to 30" x 40". 
Transfers of oversize art work must be done by alternate methods and could have a less than desirable effect on the finished product, such as a crease, lap marks, or wrinkles. In the event of oversize work, every effort is made to decrease the undesirable effects.

Textured Cameos:  Small prints can be made to look like original paintings by dry mounting them and brushing on clear acrylic conforming to the patterns in the image.  These do not require mats or glass.

Special Presentations:  There is an endless variety of specialized unique mat systems.  The only limiting factor is imagination.  The border of a print,  wall paper, crushed and mounted paper or hand painted mat board can all become part of a unique mat system.
